If both the ABA and 505 Panthers win each of the first two games, they would square off on Wednesday in a third round game. The 505 Panthers and ABA are both represented in the American bracket, meaning a showdown between those two teams could be for a chance to play for a berth in the CMWS. The tournament is broken up into two brackets, called American and National. The ABA are coming off a successful tournament run last week in Albuquerque, winning a regional event with a record of four wins and a tie. “The way the city runs the venue, how the city rallies around the tournament makes it such a privilege to be a part of something like that.” “Farmington has such a rich history for baseball, that it’s a sense of pride to play in the series,” Campos said. Representing the state of New Mexico in the Connie Mack World Series is something Campos has tried to emphasize to his group of players.
